π International / Leadership Opportunity
SFR Recruitment Solutions are working on an exclusive retained search for a Global Estimating Manager to lead and develop a high-performing international estimating function within a growing, specialist manufacturing organisation.
π The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the global estimating function, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of quotations, tender submissions and technical support across multiple regions.
Youβll play a key role in shaping strategy, improving processes, and driving consistency across international teams. Hybrid, 3 days on site.
π§ Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor and develop a global estimating team
- Drive performance, accountability and continuous improvement
Strategy & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement a global estimating strategy aligned with growth plans
- Standardise systems, processes and best practice (including Driveworks)
Estimating & Quotation Management
- Oversee the creation of accurate, high-quality quotations
- Ensure all quotes align with client specifications and are efficiently managed through revisions
- Implement robust quality control processes
Tender Management
- Take ownership of global tender submissions
- Ensure accurate, timely and commercially competitive responses
Technical & Commercial Support
- Act as a central technical support function for the wider sales team
- Provide guidance on product selection, compatibility and alternative solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Development, Operations and Installation teams
- Ensure alignment between technical design, compliance standards and production capability
π Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of estimating activity and pipeline opportunities
- Support global alignment of standards, documentation and training
- Attend internal meetings and reporting forums as required
β What Weβre Looking For
- Strong background in estimating within construction, manufacturing or building products
- Proven experience managing teams, ideally across multiple regions
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with configuration / quoting tools (e.g. Driveworks) and CRM systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance accuracy and efficiency
