Digital Marketing Executive – SFR374

What You Would Do As Our Digital Marketer

This is a broad role which represents an opportunity for a Digital Marketer to create and deliver multi-channel campaigns inhouse as well as marketing all products and services to deliver business growth.

You will be working on a diverse range of projects including:

  •  Animated ‘new product showcases’ for use in ‘digital toolkits’ to support the sales team
  •  Digital adverts for national press
  •  Website content including animated hero banners
  •  Animated e-signatures for company-wide use
  •  Creative content for our in-house e-zine ‘The Buzz’
  •  Animated content for customer proposal and new business pitches as required
  •  A range of traditional marketing materials including product literature, catalogues, and brochures

You will need to have the following skills and experience:

  •  Degree level education
  •  Minimum 3 years’ experience in a B2B environment
  •  Demonstrable experience of multi-channel creative campaigns
  •  Mac literate and Microsoft Office
  •  Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and particularly After Effects – software packages
  •  Knowledge of Key shot rendering software would be advantageous
  •  Ideas driven with team working attributes and excellent organisational skills
  •  Excellent communication and writing skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  •  Confidence to share and implement new ideas and ability to work pro-actively and reactively

Our client is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of window and door hardware with over 50 years of history and expertise.

With a strong presence in the UK residential ventilation market with a comprehensive range of mechanical and natural ventilation products and is also a leading supplier of window and door hardware.

Role Profile

We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager with strong sales skills and an excellent business development record, to be based in the South.

Role Purpose and Primary Objectives:

To manage a designated sales area and maximise sales opportunities for the Window and Door Hardware division, in products for use on all materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting new accounts, using their own initiative, using lead generation services and efficiently network accounts to create credible opportunities, specifications and orders.
  • To maximise growth and profitability from existing accounts by using effective key account management techniques (including cross-selling), client management skills and offering an exceptional level of service and support.
  • To meet KPI’s and objectives as defined in the yearly appraisal review. i.e. call rates, opportunity generation, specifications, client targets etc.
  • To identify, research, visit and obtain new customers and orders by promoting the full range of WDH products and arrange for competitive, accurate quotations to be provided and to follow these up effectively with customers.
  • To achieve agreed monthly area sales targets.
  • To utilise all forms of communication and industry contact, including social media, to fact find in order to optimise possible business targets and increase awareness of competitor activity.
  • To create and deliver informative, engaging, and credible sales presentations, including CPD’s and product specific demonstrations.
  • To keep updated with and effectively communicate the relevant regulations and documents relating to fenestration and ventilation (understand overall ventilation requirements and Ventilation Systems product range relating to it).
  • To work cooperatively with colleagues, exchange information and work together to maximise all sales opportunities, update CRM and deliver key market analysis reports.
  • To consider, identify and report any opportunity to improve product or service.
  • Provide regular reports and feedback to a professional standard, to analyse market trends and competitors activities.
  • Positively contribute to all team meetings, prepare and present area reviews.
  • Provide support for and attend exhibitions and conferences.
  • Whilst on company business act professionally, be positive, constructive, proactive and actively promote the business at all times.
  • To attend training courses and ongoing industry training sessions.

Product Manager – SFR352

SFR Recruitment Solutions are very excited to being working on this position as a Product Manager. Our client is a leading brand, designer and manufacturer of window and door hardware.

JOB PURPOSE

To support and develop the Product Management, Marketing, Technical Support and Engineering Services requirements of the business. Ensure that the business is in the best possible position to take advantage of all sales opportunities, working closely with the Sales team and taking information from the market, customers and prospects.

Work with Inter-departmental personnel, customers or suppliers both home and abroad to ensure that product specifications, quality and stock levels meet the demands of the company and its customers.

DIRECT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH:

Exec, Sales Force, Customer Care, Technical Support, Marketing, Operations team, Quality Management, UKAS Laboratory.

KEY PRIORITY AREAS

External activities

Working in conjunction with the sales-team to:

  • Investigate customer specific hardware requirements.
  • Support sales team with technically related customer visits.
  • Seek out ‘new sector’ markets and product opportunities.
  • Exploit and develop relationships with industry contacts to keep abreast of market and product developments.
  • Maintain and develop “System House” relationships ensuring reciprocal information regarding product and system developments.

In house activities

  • Support the Product Management team, with a positive friendly constructive attitude.
  • Maintain the company reputation for innovation and first class customer care.
  • Ensure efficient and harmonious relationships between departments.
  • Encourage a positive departmental style that can be detected by colleagues.

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of NPI documentation.

  • Work positively with fellow employees and customers to investigate and resolve issues.

Technical Support

  • Ensure that the External and Internal sales and Technical Support teams have ‘computer’ access to technical information relating to all products enabling prompt and accurate response to technical enquiries.
  • Ensure all technical support documentation are correct and available via a structured up to date system. All additions or withdrawals of information must be informed to all necessary persons in a recorded manor.
  • Ensure that the External and Internal sales and Technical Support teams are kept up to date and trained regarding product innovation, product strategy and new product introduction.

 Product Design and Application Engineering

  • Creation of concept designs and/or prototypes required to support business introduction to Group or other suppliers.
  • Responsible for producing detail drawings, production specifications and inspection specifications for the production of new and existing products.
  • Responsible for creating technical documentation to support selling activity.
  • Responsible for investigating variations of existing products to suit specific customer requirements
  • Liaison with suppliers to modify existing products to meet changing demand.
  • Develop an understanding of market sector legislation (via business networking) and report business potential or risk to NPD meeting.

 Sales and Marketing Support

  • Attend, and man trade exhibitions as required
  • Produce product literature for marketing purposes. Including: Technical specification and drawing, rendered images, graphics, written content and layout
  • Feedback information to the company regarding market trends, Product Innovation and competitor activities.
  • Monitor competitors products and feedback to the New Product Development meeting.
  • As required attend sales and/or strategy meetings to ensure good communication and relations with the external sales force.
  • Attend UK industry exhibitions, gather information.

Quality

  • Produce QIR and the QD quality reports and communicate these with the Group.
  • Liaise directly with customers or suppliers on quality issues and visit when necessary.
  • When necessary assist the “Warehouse Technician” in the creation of reports to customers or suppliers regarding quality issues.

Technical Support to Laboratories

  • As directed by the Technical Manager create design and detail drawings for the manufacture of new or refurbished laboratory equipment.
  • As directed by the Product Manager manage the outsourcing of parts / services associated with new or refurbished laboratory equipment.
  • In line with Purchasing matrix rules, organise all cap–ex approvals for equipment investment.

General

  • Uphold the company reputation for innovation and first class customer care.
  • Occasional overseas travel will be necessary.
  • Occasional UK travel including overnight stay will be necessary.
  • Must be willing and able to render regular and efficient service.

Business Development Manager – SFR331

Our client are an established market leading manufacturer of Window and door hardware renowned for its quality products. They are seeking to add a midlands based Business Development Manager for the Architectural products.

Responsible for the professional management of all aspects of external sales for the defined geographical region with a view to achieving the overall company aims, i.e. sales budgets, product mix, profitability, brand image, market penetration etc.  In order to achieve this, the key responsibilities are as follows.

Duties and Responsibilities

•          Demonstrate a commitment to the Company’s Vision and Values at all times.

•          To protect and develop business levels from existing accounts by calling regularly and building strong business relationships with the Key decision makers.  This is of paramount importance in each regions top twenty / thirty customers.

•          To actively seek and exploit new business opportunities whether this be from existing accounts, new accounts or other areas such as local authorities / architects.

•          To actively promote existing and new products to all relevant market sectors.

•          To utilise company reporting systems ie: JD Edwards to effectively analyse area / customer performance in order to be able to hold effective business review meetings with customers.

•          To ensure effective communication is achieved / maintained with internal sales via regular team meetings and communication with sales office supervisor.

•          To maximise market awareness of our brand portfolio.

•          To report back any information that may be useful in formulating the future strategy of the company i.e. competitor activity, customer activity, new products etc.

•          To portray a professional image at all times in line with the company philosophy and brand image.

•          Comply with Company regulations regarding Employee / Company confidentiality.

•          Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by either your Manager or a Company Director.

•          These duties and responsibilities may be varied from time to time by your Manager, based upon the changing needs of the Company and your personal development
