Technical Sales Representative – SFR357

Our client is searching for a driven technical sales representative to join our dynamic team.

The successful, technical sales candidate will be joining a team with over 25 years of sales experience in our partnership with SALTO Systems. In their own quest at becoming one of the world’s largest and most innovative access control manufacturers, we have supported growth in the east of England and insuring SALTO is the most popular choice of access control system within Education.

Our client are also installers of many Access Control, CCTV, Automated Gates and Barriers and Door Automation Systems.

The industry continues to grow and evolve for which we need an inspired individual to continue this journey with.

To be a successful technical sales representative, you should have and be able to develop further an excellent rapport with existing customers and source new clients. You will further your knowledge about the industry and have the ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients.

Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate solutions.
  • Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
  • Following up with customers and resolving any issues.
  • Keeping customers informed about new technological products.
  • Compiling proposals and reports related to technical products.
  • Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met.
  • Commissioning Access control equipment to meet the customers’ requirements followed by a fully informed training session.
  • Updating customer records.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven industry specific sales/technical background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
  • Exceptional skills in selling products and firm deals.
  • Previous B2C and/or B2B Sales Experience.
  • Proficiency in English and experience with Office 365.
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding the nature of the core business contracts and company strategy.
  • Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills.
  • A Positive Approach to Objection Handling.
  • Previous B2B and/or B2C Sales Experience.
  • Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.

Details

Field Sales Manager – SFR353

Our a client 10 years’ trading experience in specifying and supplying sensor and control technology to the industrial, pedestrian, garage door, gate, barrier and perimeter fencing markets.

Able to supply a standard or tailor-made solution for any access, activation, presence or safety detection requirements for the UK and Ireland marketplace.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an External Salesperson for Safety and Sensing Solutions.  We are looking for an experienced External Salesperson to join the team who will be responsible for driving new business growth through prospecting and selling innovative products to a variety of clients within this market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plan to identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in the gate, industrial door and pedestrian door market
  • Manage and grow existing accounts to achieve sales goals and increase customer satisfaction
  • Understand client needs and recommend the appropriate solutions to meet their requirements
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to increase market visibility and network with potential clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and sales growth
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activities and market trends to the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in an external sales role, preferably in the gate, industrial door and pedestrian door market
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and methodologies, including consultative selling and account management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
  • Knowledge of safety and sensing solutions is highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory

Technical Sales Representative – SFR328

Our client is a global brand of gate automation and security with the history and expertise to provide an fantastic array of products and services.  Manufacturing a complete range of gate automation equipment from underground motors to barriers, intercoms and other accessories.

We are now looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join the team in the Midlands.

Ideally based in the Midlands, this role will be based at home but you will be expected to be out at least 3 days a week visiting potential customers.  The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining current client accounts. Working from home, however with regular travel required around the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team.

You will be responsible for maximising revenue through acquiring new clients and retaining existing partnerships. You will lead by example and ensure clients receive the best service possible.  you will have a successful track record and relevant experience selling technology solutions to a variety of trade customers. Additionally, you will help develop new revenue streams while identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets for growth.

About You

To be considered as a Regional Sales Manager, you will need:

– At least three years of sales experience

 -Ability to sell technical solution on its features and benefits supported by technical proposals to secure confidence in the solution offered is a key skill.

-Experience in preferred areas of – Access / Entry Automation / Electronics / Intercoms – however all mechanical and electrical backgrounds considered

What You Will Be Doing

  • Be responsible for the development and commercial success of a designated sales region or sector
  • Meet and exceed individual revenue and contact quota
  • Qualify and develop new business opportunities from outbound/inbound calls, leads, general prospecting and email marketing. This includes cold calling and networking in the region to develop one’s own opportunities
  • Perform sales presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, present, articulate/clarify value and differentiation, and win the business in expected timeframe
  • Develop territory/sector strategy
  • Accurately forecast revenue for territory and accounts, maintain contact information, business history and opportunity details
  • Develop a strong technical baseline through training and development milestones
  • Relevant experience with technical solution and consultative selling
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills
  • You need to be an energetic self-starter and able to work hard, independently
  • Capacity to interact and communicate effectively with internal resources and executives
  • Territory (home) based and extensive travel required
  • Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximising client potential in designated regions

  • Make telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers

The hours will be 40.5 hours per week 8.30 – 17.30 Monday – Thursday and 8.30-15.30 Fridays.  This position is offered subjuct to satisfactory reference and pre-employment checks and completion of six-month probationary period during which time preformance will be reviewed.

This position is permanent, therefore entitleing all staff benefits.  An entitlement of 28 days holidays per year pro-rata, inc Bank Holidays.  The Holiday year runs from Jan 1st – Dec 31st.
