Vertical Solution Sales Manager – SFR365

Our client is a leading manufacturer of entrance and security systems, including automatic doors, turnstiles, speed lanes and access control.


Our client is looking to recruit a Vertical Solution Sales Managersto be asector specialist.

Your Tasks

As a Vertical Solution Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development and achievement of our vertical sales strategy and objectives. Working and selling to key clients within the commercial, education or healthcare sector, you will be accountable for the overall performance of this vertical, increasing sales, building a strong customer base, and developing a strong pipeline to ensure continued success.

You will also be expected lead the internal teams with a transversal approach as we see collaboration across teams being a key part of this roles success.

Responsibilities
 

  • Find and successfully win orders within the vertical, working towards and exceeding targets, ensuring a consultative sales approach.
  • For major projects, you will be required to monitor these, and ensure these run successfully to support repeat business.
  • Strengthen relationships and agreements with the main companies and end users of the vertical.
  • Identify relevant and active architecture and engineering studios in the vertical, working with internal teams to deliver specification strategy.
  • Coordinate the direct and indirect sales process in projects, collaborating with the different departments (product sales, technical office, PMM & Marketing) to offer a complete access solution.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA vertical team in the development of a global strategy.
     

Your Skills

You will be required to develop a deep knowledge of the market and our customer needs and so we are looking for Sales leads who has had previous experience of consultative selling and managing / overseeing projects within the specific vertical.

This role will require strong skills in areas such as negotiation, communication, networking, collaboration, and customer service as well as skills in project management and delivery.

The successful, technical sales candidate will be joining a team with over 25 years of sales experience in our partnership with SALTO Systems. To be a successful technical sales representative, you should have and be able to develop further an excellent rapport with existing customers and source new clients. You will further your knowledge about the industry and have the ability to break down technical terminology to non-technical clients.

Technical Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate solutions.
  • Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
  • Following up with customers and resolving any issues.

Technical Support Advisor – SFR354

Our client is Our client is a leading manufacturer of entrance and security systems, including automatic doors, turnstiles, speed lanes and access control.

This is a great opportunity to join the technical services and support centre based in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

This is a small, close knit team and supportive office of technical specialists who cover a number of responsibilities to ensure the customer gets the right product for their requirements and that new products are fit for purpose.

Initially you will work on dealing with telephone and email issues with regards to the products, but as your knowledge grows you will get to collaborate with different manufacturers, investigating technical issues with failed products and working towards solutions.  You will also be involved with producing technical documentation and literature as well as delivering product training, either in the technical services and support centre itself or, on occasion, on customers sites.

YOUR SKILLS

  • We are looking for a responsible and technically competent individual with a recognised qualification in electrical or electronic engineering.

  • A technical background from within the door, architectural Ironmongery or any other associated industry (i.e. CCTV, security, gates & barriers, access control or similar)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional manner with the ability to communicate with technical staff at all levels.

Our client is a leading British Manufacturer of a fire insulated profile system with a core of fire resistant insulation for glazed doors, sliding doors, partition walls and window sections. Ideal for use in offices, shopping centres, airports, hotels, hospitals, schools and similar public buildings.

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES

  • To launch the new range of the fire Insulated, glazed door and screen products into the UK market. Identifying routes to market, customers, end users and market channels.
  • Quickly gain a technical and sales knowledge of the product range. Such that you will be, in a position to provide customers, contractors and internal colleagues, with full support from initial sale through to final installation.
  • Prospect for new customers using whatever medium is appropriate. Maintaining detailed records of contacts made and results achieved.
  • Selling to and advising, end users, contractors, architects.
  • Utilise the Barbour ABI system to help you locate potential projects and contacts.
  • Follow up any leads/enquires, in a timely manner, that may be generated by marketing activity.
  • Produce accurate quotations for customers, in a timely manner. Keeping records of quotes and relevant correspondence both personally and via computer system.
  • Attend customer meetings, either in person or via remote means. Being prepared to travel within the UK and potentially abroad and being prepared to stay away from home on company business.
  • Provide weekly diary sheets, detailing planned activity and weekly updates of the proceeding week, detailing outcomes.
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts, updated on a weekly basis.
  • Provide monthly activity reports, detailing activity, quote output and order intake.
  • Meet agreed sales targets.

Ideally based in the Midlands, this role will be based at home but you will be expected to be out at least 3 days a week visiting potential customers.  The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining current client accounts. This position is permanent, therefore entitleing all staff benefits.  An entitlement of 28 days holidays per year pro-rata, inc Bank Holidays.  The Holiday year runs from Jan 1st – Dec 31st.
