Sales Manager – SFR342

Our client is a leading British Manufacturer of a fire insulated profile system with a core of fire resistant insulation for glazed doors, sliding doors, partition walls and window sections. Ideal for use in offices, shopping centres, airports, hotels, hospitals, schools and similar public buildings.

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES

  • To launch the new range of the fire Insulated, glazed door and screen products into the UK market. Identifying routes to market, customers, end users and market channels.
  • Quickly gain a technical and sales knowledge of the product range. Such that you will be, in a position to provide customers, contractors and internal colleagues, with full support from initial sale through to final installation.
  • Prospect for new customers using whatever medium is appropriate. Maintaining detailed records of contacts made and results achieved.
  • Selling to and advising, end users, contractors, architects.
  • Utilise the Barbour ABI system to help you locate potential projects and contacts.
  • Follow up any leads/enquires, in a timely manner, that may be generated by marketing activity.
  • Produce accurate quotations for customers, in a timely manner. Keeping records of quotes and relevant correspondence both personally and via computer system.
  • Attend customer meetings, either in person or via remote means. Being prepared to travel within the UK and potentially abroad and being prepared to stay away from home on company business.
  • Provide weekly diary sheets, detailing planned activity and weekly updates of the proceeding week, detailing outcomes.
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts, updated on a weekly basis.
  • Provide monthly activity reports, detailing activity, quote output and order intake.
  • Meet agreed sales targets.
  • Always present yourself in a professional manner
  • Undertake any other reasonable management request, that may be made.

Our client is a leading British Manufacturers of the Finest Architectural Hardware are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and develop profitable sales across its multiple sales channels

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the specification sales process and have experience in dealing with Architectural Ironmongers, Interior Designers and Architects, as well as the OEM Market

Principle duties and Key responsibilities.

  • Increasing sales by achieving agreed quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain and develop relationship with an existing established customer base
  • Identify and develop new opportunities across multiple market sectors
  • Manage and plan your time efficiently and effectively making contact with your customers and potential customers via appropriate methods.
  • Increase market awareness and promote the Croft Brand
  • Actively update activity records via our CRM system.
  • Produce quotations in line with customer expectations
  • Represent the Company at industry events and forums

Reporting to the Head of Sales monthly analysing your individual performance through sales figures and KPI’s, the company service levels, market activity and competitor activity.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required

The ideal candidate will have experience within the Architectural Ironmongery or Door and Window Market and either hold or will be working towards recognised industry qualifications (DipGAI, RegAI, FDIS)

You will need to be self-motivated with excellent communication and people skills with experience of specifying a selling a technical product

PC Literate with experience of the usual MS office products as well as understanding of the use of professional CRM Systems

Internal Sales / Customer Service Advisor – Salary £22k – £25k

Full time position based in WS9

Role:

  • Processing customer sales orders from enquiry to acknowledgement
  • Proactive sales activity, including contacting existing and new customers and promoting the company’s products & services
  • Supporting the Sales Office Manager with customers longer-term requirements and managing delivery schedules
  • Assisting the Customer Services function with proactive updating of customers with any changes to their orders
  • Maintaining customer data on computer systems
  • Liaising with UK Sales Managers or Technical Sales as appropriate to develop sales opportunities
  • Office administration and document management, general phone enquiries

Regional Sales Manager – SFR339

Our client is a family owned supplier of performance doorsets and architectural ironmongery providing high quality products ideally suited to the health, education, commercial, defence, office fit-out and high-end residential markets.

The core mission of the Regional Sales Manager is to increase new business revenue from a developed pipeline and support a Technical Sales Manager by breaking down barriers and opening doors to secure audiences and build trusted and lasting relationships with new and existing clients. Customer contact is mainly face to face with transactional activity via the telephone as well. You will be working as a team with the technical sales manager.

Since the beginning of 2022, the wider sales team has been refining and cleansing the sales pipeline implementing major improvements to the sales process through a development of Gateways for both the external and internal sales teams. With a high potential (£17M) of quoted work with requirement for delivery in 2023, in London and Southern England alone, there is a need to support an existing technical sales team by helping to open doors and break new ground with existing and new clients, through; persistent, energetic, passionate and personable approaches, to open the mind, and close the sale.

Main Duties

✓ Build relationships with New & Existing Customers (Contractors)

✓ Build relationships with Architects and get specified on identified major Projects/Industry Sectors.

✓ Achieve Sales Targets and manage the front-end profitability of the territory.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the External Sales Team, providing exceptional sales service across South East of England region.

Purpose of the role

To proactively manage and maximise sales opportunities for company products in an appointed region within the Merchant channel by delivering customer service excellence. This role will continuously develop sales by achieving agreed budgets while also growing our new and existing customer base. 

Key responsibilities

•             Establishing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential customers in the region and beyond.

•             Providing merchandising expertise to drive sales performance for our business and subsequently our customer businesses. 

•             Achieving sales budgets, margins, call rates and new-lead targets.

•             Contributing to a team-working environment, managing workloads to improve efficiencies together.

•             Working towards understanding customer needs and supporting the systematic gathering of customer feedback on service improvements.

•             Working with Supply Chain to provide sales information and where possible provide customer forecasts to enable us to meet known demand and project requirements.

•             Generating and following up specification leads, coordinating with the specification team.
