Following an initial training period in the office, the role will operate on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the office and flexibility around office-based days.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Internal Sales Office.

Managing your own customer account base or geographical region, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience through efficient order processing, proactive communication, and effective problem solving.

Working closely with sales, warehouse, manufacturing, and customer support teams, you will help ensure customers receive a professional, responsive, and solutions-focused service at every stage of the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full customer order lifecycle from order receipt through to delivery and payment.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems.
  • Handle customer enquiries relating to pricing, products, stock availability, promotions, and delivery updates.
  • Resolve customer queries relating to orders, deliveries, credit returns, and account information.
  • Process credit notes and support accurate order book management.
  • Liaise with warehouse and manufacturing teams regarding delivery schedules and product availability.
  • Support external sales teams with customer information, quotations, and order updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer, product, and pricing information within CRM and internal systems.
  • Ensure customers receive up-to-date price lists, catalogues, product literature, samples, and promotional information.
  • Assist with project work and provide support across the wider Sales Office team when required.
  • Contribute towards departmental KPI targets and overall sales performance.

The successful candidate will become the primary point of contact for an established customer portfolio, managing enquiries, quotations, specifications and live projects while identifying opportunities to maximise sales growth and customer value.
