Sales Executive – SFR286

Our client is a designer and manufacturer of window and door hardware products, supplying product to Architectural Ironmongers and Door manufacturers.

A Sales Executive is required to join the growing team and we are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service and account management. This is a sales administration role, you will be asked to input data and customer orders and this requires great attention to detail.

Working as part of our team towards sales targets the role will involve:

– Making outbound calls to customers and prospects

– Building relationships, providing a high quality of service and identifying sales opportunities.

– Dealing with phone and email enquiries, following up opportunities through to point of sale.

– Accurately processing orders within a timely and efficient manner.

– General office administration duties.

This position would suit a proactive, committed, and enthusiastic individual with a willingness to learn an exciting new portfolio whilst maintaining and continually expanding product knowledge. Technical Manager (West Midlands) – SFR284

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Architectural Hardware and Door Hardware products. 

They would like to strengthen the Product Management team by recruiting a Technical Product Manager.

The ideal candidate:

  • Technical manager experience within architectural ironmongery and or construction hardware sectors. Experience as a specifying architectural ironmonger would be considered
  • Good understanding of the harmonised standards, testing and certification processes
  • Good organisation and house keeping
  • Experience in setting up new products into CRP/ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX)
  • Experience from manufacturing background would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, MS Project advantageous
  • GAI educated

The role would be based in the west midlands, but the candidate should be prepared to conduct site visits (within UK & Ireland).

TASKS

• Within the role the Salesperson will lead this business initiative and be responsible for proposing, coordinating, and delivering the business strategy to ensure profitable growth for the product range within the distribution and installer channels.

• This role requires the Salesperson to take full responsibility of the sales process with tasks such as: • Building and supporting our customer relationships, offering excellent service to support continual growth and increased sales.

The Primary Objective

To prepare estimations of work by gathering specifications, proposals, material costs and labour. The role will include building relationships with clients whilst promoting business products and services to maximise sale opportunities.

Job Purpose

Principally working alongside the existing Specification Sales Team & Business Development Manager (UK) to manage, maintain and convert the existing company quote bank, ensuring an upward growth curve. Interaction with the Main & Sub Contractor customer base (internally) to provide high levels of customer service, also proactively assisting an allocated Specification Sales Consultants quote bank to ensure all projects, at whatever stage, are continually followed up, with report status current and next actions clearly communicated.

Previous Experience.

Internal Sales Experience. preferably within the Main Contractor & Joinery Sub-Contractor Sectors

Duties.

  • Develop trusting relationships with identified Joinery Sub Contractors, and ensure they have a contact within the business.
  • To understand the needs and requirements of our customers and continue to build relationships with new and existing customers.
  • To serve as the link of communication between key customers and the Specification team.
  • Regularly liaise with the Specification team and chase quotes to increase the conversion rates.
  • To resolve customer queries and complaints, and ensure trust is always maintained.
  • Generating new sales from offering knowledge and guidance on non-company Specified projects helping to build our long-lasting contractor relationships.
  • On a monthly basis, report successes, losses and constraints to the Business Development Manager (UK) and work towards building a clear path between specification and order receipt.
  • Review of the lost report each month with your line manager, agreeing on a plan of action relating to each.
